BS 7799 gives recommendations for Information Security Management for use by those who have the responsibility within an organization for initiating, implementing or maintaining security procedures/operations.

This involves the preservation of confidentiality, integrity and availability of information through Information Security and the processes of Risk Assessment and Risk Management of the information processing facilities and Disaster Recovery (Business Continuity Management).
