Since 1981, it has been a legal requirement that employers have trained First Aiders in the workplace. The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, place a responsibility on all employers to provide adequate and appropriate First Aid provision for their employees. First Aid Training is provided to meet the criteria laid down by the Health & Safety Executive.
